Bradley's Baptism, and a Wedding (warning - lots of pictures!!)

It's already been two weeks since Bradley's big day, and I'm just getting around to writing about it. We are so proud of our little Monkey for how well he behaved during his hour-long baptism ceremony. To our surprise, Dan and I had to participate in the entire ceremony. We were under the impression that once we handed Bradley over to the Godparents then we just got to sit back, relax and watch the show. Boy were we wrong! We were front and center with the Godparents for the duration. And it was hot. So hot. Like we were jealous of the priest's sweat rag (well, it was a handkerchief but sweat rag is a more fitting description for its use) that he used every five minutes, type of hot.
But back to the baptism ... Bradley's Godparents are his Unlce BJ and my cousin Tina. Bradley came in to the church dressed in a cute little outfit, then I had to undress him, then he was dunked in the water three times, then the grandmothers dressed him in his beautiful baptism outfit courtesy of the Godparents. Our little Monkey didn't cry at all! And as an added bonus he didn't pee on anyone either!
After the ceremony we had a luncheon at Riverside Grille House in Tarpon Springs and had a nice meal and spent time with friends and family. It was great spending time with our families - a big thanks to all those who traveled for Bradley's big day!

Now on to the wedding part. This past weekend our good friends Peder and Danielle got married. It was a beautiful ceremony at Sacred Heart in downtown Tampa then a waterfront reception at Edgewater Arms in Dunedin. Dan and I were both in the wedding party so there we both had lots of preparations for their big day, but we couldn't have been happier for such a great couple. Danielle looked so beautiful! As I type this they are enjoying the beach and sun in Grand Cayman, wish I was there now instead of watching the clouds roll in here!
