Clapping and Little Einsteins

These are two of Bradley's new favorites things. After working with him on clapping for about a week, he started clapping on his own last weekend. We could definitely tell that Bradley was so proud of himself for learning this cool new thing. He was clapping and laughing all at the same time. When he started clapping Dan ran and got the video camera so we were able to capture his first claps. Yay Bradley!

And now for Little Einsteins ... they are these cute little Disney characters that fly around in their rocket on little missions all while teaching you about classical music. Pretty cool, huh? Bradley definitely thinks so. Here they are so you can check them out for yourself.

The little brown-haired girl in the front, June, is always doing ballet. I love her the most. I also don't know any of the other character's names because she is my favorite. I'm pretty sure Dan does, though. In the first episode we watched a few weeks ago, the kids were in Africa trying to give snacks to the baby animals. Sweet, right? But then a plane disquised as a lion (huh?) took the snacks and the Little Einsteins had to chase him around and set up some traps in order to save the snacks and feed the hungry baby animals. Not sure why Disney would have a character that would be stealing baby animals' food, but I guess you have to look past that. In this morning's episode Saturn lost one of its rings and it happened to land in June's backyard so they all boarded the rocket and went off to outer space to return the ring. After June and the ring danced around her yard, of course. I'll have to ask Bradley what happened next because I had to get ready for work. I actually like this show much better than some of the other Disney Jr or Nick Jr cartoons I have seen. And most importantly Bradley gives it two thumbs up and a bunch of claps!
