Bradley's First Birthday Party

After all the months of planning, Bradley's first birthday party has already come and gone. Can you believe it?? I sure can't. Besides B and I both being a little under the weather for the big party day, everything went really well. We so wish Bradley had been feeling better because while he wasn't fussy or crying during the party (except when his smash cake came out ...) he wasn't his usual cheery self and was pretty quiet.

The theme for the big day was sock monkeys, and everything was red, white and brown with my favorite polka dots. There were four other kids there - Joshua and Addison (our friends Jason & Shannon's kids), Carina (our friends Ben & Margaret's daughter) and Cole (our new neighbors Keith & Katie's son). It was great having three little one-year old boys together, they are all so different yet do so many of the same things. And Addison and Carina are the same age too so they got along great.

Bradley is a very loved little boy and got so many wonderful gifts. We have only opened two so far as to not overwhelm him with too many new toys all at once. Now I guess the only thing left to do is start planning B's second birthday party ...  : )
