Sad

Sorry for the lack of posts lately, but we have been so sad and a lot has been going on. If you didn't already know, our beloved Gram passed away a little over a week ago. Gram got sick on Thanksgiving and had to go to the hospital. Over the next week she had good moments and bad moments and we really didn't know what to expect. We took Bradley to see Gram a few times, I know she loved seeing him there and I'm glad he was able to visit Gram in the hospital. Gram, as usual, stayed strong and even shared her opinion of A Rod when asked by Dan and Kevin. She thought he was a jerk, for the record.

Gram's funeral was in New Jersey and we all flew up to be there. It was Bradley's first flight and he was a little champ and did great the whole time. The weather was a little chilly but it was actually a nice change to get all bundled up. Even though we were there for such a sad occasion it was wonderful that the whole family was there together, just as Gram would have wanted.

The next few weeks will be hard with Bradley's birthday, Christmas and New Year's all fast approaching but we will be strong like Gram was and make it through. And even though I only had the pleasure of knowing Gram for six years, she meant so much to me.
